About me

I am a Queens born, NYC based creative. I've spent the last few years working on projects of different levels and industries ranging from AI backed e-commerce products to advertising technology. I have led cross functional teams and collaborated with large multidisciplinary teams to provide great experiences for users. From my early years as a UX Designer I was entrusted with incorporating with teams across organizations to better understand the problems we were looking to help solve. As I have progressed in my career I have looked at these prior experiences to evangelize the UX process wherever I go. Outside of work you can find me talking about UX at meetups, getting coffee with old colleagues or lending an ear to juniors seeking career advice.

UX Lead

PCH, 2021-2023

I have spearheaded many initiatives in my time at PCH. I was initially brought on to focus on the UX Strategy and Research for the new experience. After a year, the Product Design Director left and I took on the responsibilities of seeing through the UX process from research to deployment. With a great team of junior to mid-level researchers, designers, and writers I was able to establish a research and design roadmap that allowed us to prioritize work along with the product management team. We were able to get ahead of development with our MVP designs and enter a more exploratory phase where we could tackle important user pain points.

After the Director of Product design left I took on the responsibilities of seeing through the UX process from research to deployment for about a year and half. With a great team of junior to mid-level researchers, designers, and writers I was able to establish a research and design roadmap that allowed us to prioritize work along with the product management team. We were able to get ahead of development with our MVP designs and enter a more exploratory phase where we could tackle important user pain points.

UX Lead

Stylitics, 2021-2021

As the UX Lead at Stylitics my main responsibilities were to establish a discovery cycle for our white label widget and use those insights to create a more scalable solution for our various clients. Powered with a team of junior to mid-level designers, I was able to solidify a design system that increased development velocity and sped up our ideation sessions with clients who were looking for a more custom design. With the improved speed of delivery I was able to explore more of the back end work and partner with the Machine Learning team to brainstorm and launch new features leveraging the existing algorithms.

UX Designer

MediaMath, 2017-2021

MediaMath provided a thorough education of how to navigate the world of UX. I still look back at my time there and leverage everything I learned from great colleagues and leaders. I was integrated across many work streams doing research and design for the Admin, Campaigns, and Intelligence teams. The phrase evangelizing UX is frequently used in our field but much of my time at MediaMath was selling what the team could provide. I garnered trust through facilitating work shops where teams across the organization wanted to join and brainstorm solutions. From these collaborative sessions a new experience was able to come to life providing value and results to internal and external users.

UX Designer

Roadgoat (Hashtravel), 2017-2017

I oversaw all aspects of the UX process from drafting research prompts to screening for users that fit our target demographic. I synthesized research to generate user personas and draft problem statements to define our design scope. On the design side I created our design system and led team ideation rounds to brainstorm ideas for future testing of prototypes and features.
